On a cold winter night in Knoxville, Tennessee, the lives of two young men were tragically cut short in a burst of violence that remains a mystery to this day. Phillip Delantia Wilkerson Jr., a 22-year-old male, was with his friend, 25-year-old Emanuel Oliver Wykle, on January 24, 1998. The two were near the Club Royal, located at 2111 McCalla Avenue, when they were both fatally shot.
