On December 16, 2011, Armando Carnel, 20 years old, was fatally shot during a robbery incident in Knoxville, Tennessee. The event took place at Walter P. Taylor Homes, a neighborhood known for its history of violent crime. After being shot, Armando managed to make his way to Ft. Sanders Hospital, where he informed authorities about the robbery.
