On August 1, 2022, Keith Zajac was seen for the last time in Brandon, Manitoba. During the time of his disappearance, Keith was traveling from Squamish, British Columbia to Ontario. That same day, his vehicle was located near Highway 1, approximately 10 kilometers west of Brandon. Several witnesses reported seeing Keith walking along the highway, westbound on the Assiniboine River's edge.
