Curtis Deyquan King, a 23-year-old African American man from Knoxville, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on July 30, 2017. He was found dead at the scene of the shooting, which occurred around 2 a.m. near the corner of Lilac Avenue and Fern Street. According to police reports, King was involved in a verbal argument before he was shot.
