Robert Nicholas "Nick" Creson, an 18-year-old male student and football player at Lincoln County High School in Fayetteville, Tennessee, was tragically murdered on May 19, 1998. Creson was killed in the school parking lot by his classmate, Jacob Lee Davis, who was 18 years old at the time. The motive behind the murder was rooted in jealousy and a love triangle involving Creson, Davis, and Davis's girlfriend, Tonya Bishop.
