In the late summer of 2020, the community of Brownsville, Tennessee, was shaken by the violent and untimely death of 24-year-old Chelsey Renee Morris. A white female, Chelsey was shot and killed on the night of August 24th in what authorities have described as an attempted robbery. The incident unfolded on East Main Street, where Morris and a male companion, Bruce Willis of Oklahoma, were discovered inside a vehicle with critical injuries.
