In the early morning hours of March 2, 2005, in the quiet, rural community of Cumberland City, Tennessee, 47-year-old Joyce Gregory began her daily routine as a school bus driver for the Stewart County Board of Education. A dedicated teacher's aide as well, she was a familiar and friendly face to the children she transported each day. On this particular morning, as she pulled up to a stop to pick up 14-year-old Jason Clinard, the calm was shattered by gunfire.
