On January 21, 2014, Betty Wilburn, an 80-year-old woman from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, tragically lost her life in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. Betty and her husband, Hubert Wilburn, 77, were found dead in their Weston Drive home by a family member who had not heard from them. The investigation concluded that Betty died from a single gunshot wound, while Hubert, the alleged shooter, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
