In a quiet home on Weston Drive in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, a heartbreaking scene unfolded in January 2014. Authorities were called to the residence to investigate the deaths of a man and a woman. Upon their arrival, they discovered the bodies of 80-year-old Betty Wilburn and her husband, 77-year-old Hubert Wilburn. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
