JayShawn Taylor, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically died on November 15, 2018, in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. The incident occurred when Taylor and three other teenagers, including Ethen Vanderpool, a 15-year-old at the time, gathered at Vanderpool's residence to sniff glue. The gathering took a tragic turn when Vanderpool became enraged, believing Taylor was looking at one of the girls he was dating.
