She graduated from Bottineau High School in 1994 and went on to earn degrees from NDSU-BB, Minot State University, and the UND School of Law. Sarah worked for the Minnesota Judicial Branch for ten years before joining the Karkela, Hunt & Cheshire Law Firm in 2013.
