A 16-year-old male, Kevin Dewayne Smith Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee, known to his loved ones as 'Man Man,' died on December 3, 2008. His life was cut short by a single gunshot to the head.

The tragic event unfolded inside an apartment in the 400 block of Hall of Fame Drive in downtown Knoxville. After being shot, Smith was transported to the U.T.
