Martoiya Veontwanneice Woods Lang, a 32-year-old African American female, was a dedicated Memphis Police Officer who tragically lost her life on December 14, 2012. Officer Lang was shot and killed while serving a narcotics search warrant at a home on Mendenhall Court in Memphis, TN. She and her partner were ambushed by a subject who opened fire on them.
