Keara Crowder, a 29-year-old woman from Memphis, TN, tragically died on November 19, 2014. She was fatally shot by her wife, Jaselyn Grant, who was a Memphis Police Department officer at the time. The incident occurred at their shared home in the Hickory Hill area of southeast Shelby County. Crowder's 12-year-old son witnessed the shooting and testified that Grant also fired at him as he ran to get help.
