On November 20, 2017, 38-year-old Samantha Knight was tragically shot in the left side of her neck while walking on the 3600 block of Jackson Avenue in Memphis, TN. She was found unresponsive on the sidewalk and later pronounced dead at Regional One Hospital. The incident was classified as a homicide, and the Memphis Police Department launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators.
