On December 16, 2024, Ellen Buford Granberry, a 53-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed in a shooting in Memphis, Tennessee. She was found alongside her friend, Sharon Wilson, age 54, in a vehicle riddled with bullet holes on Manson Road. Both women were pronounced dead at the scene.
