In the early morning hours of April 28, 2013, a private party held at Wolfe Enterprises on East Main Street in Jackson, Tennessee, ended in tragedy. As the event was letting out shortly after 3:00 a.m., an argument erupted in the parking lot, quickly escalating to gunfire. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered two men on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds. One of these men was 31-year-old Brian Jontez Banes.
