In a tragic incident on January 28, 2014, in Hermitage, Tennessee, 15-year-old Kevin Barbee was fatally shot. The male teenager was with his friend, 17-year-old Kaemon Robinson, and two other people in a Hermitage apartment at the time of the shooting.
According to witness statements provided to the police, Robinson was playing with a pistol when the firearm discharged, and a bullet struck Barbee in the face. After the shooting, Robinson fled the apartment before law enforcement arrived.
