On August 25, 2022, Dominique Howard, a 37-year-old man from Madison, Tennessee, was found dead in the Hermitage neighborhood of Nashville. Howard was discovered wrapped in a blanket with gunshot wounds and head trauma. The body was found by a woman walking her dog early in the morning, off Brookside Woods Boulevard. Detectives from the Metro Nashville Police Department took on the case as a suspicious death, and it was later confirmed that Howard had been shot to death.
