Corvell Huddleston, a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot in Hermitage, Tennessee, on the night of April 2, 2019. The incident, which also resulted in a woman being critically injured, took place at a residence on Andrew Jackson Parkway.
In the months following the shooting, a thorough investigation by law enforcement led to the identification of four individuals connected to the crime.
In March 2020, authorities announced the arrests of Jessica Howard, Steven Searcy, San Antonio Freeman, and Lisa Maria Denson, all from Lebanon, Tennessee. They were each charged with criminal homicide for their roles in Huddleston's death.
The subsequent legal proceedings brought the details of that fatal night to light. Eventually, three of the four individuals were convicted on various charges related to the murder. Steven Searcy and San Antonio Freeman were both found guilty of second-degree murder. Jessica Howard was convicted on a lesser charge of facilitation of second-degree murder. The fourth individual, Lisa Maria Denson, was convicted of attempted second-degree murder and her felony murder charge was dismissed.
