Quintin Fifer, a 22-year-old male from Memphis, TN, tragically lost his life on February 8, 2014. Fifer was fatally shot 12 times at close range by Javonte Thomas in the parking lot of the Deluxe Inn on Lamar. At the time of the incident, Fifer had just arrived with his fiancé, his fiancé's 2-year-old child, and his brother. Fortunately, no one else was injured during the shooting.
The motive behind the murder was reportedly retaliation. Thomas claimed that he shot Fifer in retaliation
