In the Orange Mound neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 10-year-old Jadon Knox on January 19, 2020. The young boy was walking home from a park with a friend on a Sunday evening when he was struck by a stray bullet. The shooting occurred just after 6 p.m. on Josephine Street, a place familiar to Jadon and his community. He was rushed to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, but tragically, his injuries proved fatal.
