In the late hours of a warm Friday night in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 31-year-old Kendrick Lamar Brown was tragically cut short. On September 3, 2021, Brown was at a BP gas station in the Whitehaven neighborhood when a dispute escalated into fatal violence. According to police, an argument broke out between Brown and another man, leading to the eruption of gunfire that left Brown suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
