Lamar Smith Jr., a 25-year-old Black man from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on the night of March 10, 2019. The events leading to his death unfolded in the parking lot of the Winchester Bowling Alley, where an argument between two groups of people escalated into deadly violence. When guns were drawn and shots were fired, Smith was caught in the crossfire and sustained fatal injuries.
