On November 17, 2016, Gerard Sequan Knighten, 27, was tragically shot and killed in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred near the area of 87th and Overhill Drive. Reports indicate that Knighten was found shot in a vehicle and that witnesses heard a barrage of gunfire prior to finding him. After the shooting, two men were seen fleeing the scene. Despite immediate response efforts, Knighten was pronounced dead at the location.
