In Horn Lake, Mississippi, what began as another Tuesday in June of 2014 was irrevocably shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of Edroy James Ballard Jr. The 29-year-old man was fatally shot on June 3rd of that year, his death leaving a void in the lives of those who knew him. The incident prompted an investigation by the Horn Lake Police Department, who treated the case as a homicide.
