On the evening of January 5, 2015, in Martin, Tennessee, a burst of gunfire shattered the night, leaving 33-year-old Corey Williams, a Black male, with fatal injuries. The incident, which also left two other individuals wounded, occurred at the corner of B Street and South College Street. When officers from the Martin Police Department arrived on the scene, they discovered three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
