In Memphis, a young man's life was tragically cut short on what should have been a day of celebration. Cody Lewis, a 22-year-old male, was found deceased with a gunshot wound in the early morning hours just after his birthday. His body was discovered shortly before 1:30 a.m. off of Pendleton Street. A relative indicated on social media that he was found in an abandoned apartment complex, though police have not officially confirmed this specific detail.
