Casia Watkins , a 13-year-old African American girl from Lebanon, Tennessee, tragically died on January 5, 2015, after being shot while sleeping in her grandmother's home on Sycamore Street. The incident occurred during a barrage of bullets that hit the house, and Casia was struck in the head. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital on January 8, 2015.
