In the quiet early morning hours of April 12, 2021, a tragedy unfolded in a Lebanon, Tennessee, home that claimed the lives of two women. Deborah D. Sisco, a 60-year-old female, and her daughter, Marie Varsos, were shot and killed in what police described as a domestic dispute that escalated into a double homicide. The gunman was identified as Shaun R. Varsos, Marie's estranged husband.
The incident took place at Deborah's residence on Whispering Oaks Drive, where Marie had been staying. Shaun Varsos, armed with a shotgun, broke into the home around 7:30 a.m. During the terrifying ordeal, both Deborah and Marie managed to call 911 for help.
