Kentrell Provens, a 16-year-old African American sophomore at Brainerd High School in Chattanooga, TN, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on April 12, 2015. He was shot while standing outside his home on Germantown Road, and despite being rushed to Erlanger Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries on the operating table.
