In the fading daylight of a Tuesday afternoon in North Memphis, the life of 22-year-old Thomas Watkins was tragically cut short. On May 12, 2015, shots rang out at the Corning Village Apartments on Briarcrest Avenue, leaving Watkins and another man wounded.
