Carson Allen Louis Holmquist, a 25-year-old male of White ethnicity from Grantsburg, Wisconsin, was one of the four Marines killed in the July 16, 2015 shootings at a military facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The incident was classified as an act of domestic terrorism. Holmquist was assigned to Mike Battery, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve. He served as a diesel mechanic specialist and had deployments in Okinawa, Japan, and Afghanistan.
