In the spring of 2016, a young life was violently cut short on the streets of Nashville, Tennessee. Rodrick Mason, a 23-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on the evening of March 26th. The incident unfolded in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue North, where witnesses reported a harrowing scene. Two men were seen chasing Mason, firing multiple shots at him as he fled.
