In the spring of 2016, a young man's life was cut tragically short in a violent encounter in Antioch, Tennessee. Johnny Broadnax Jr., a 21-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on May 14, 2016, near the management office of the Hickory Manor Apartments on Hamilton Church Road.
