Special Agent De'Greaun Reshun Frazier, aged 35, was shot and killed on August 9, 2016, while conducting an undercover narcotics operation in Jackson, Tennessee. Frazier, who was a member of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation , was working with an informant to purchase illegal drugs when the suspect, Brenden Tyler Burns, attempted to rob them. Burns pulled out a handgun and shot Frazier in the back as he tried to exit the vehicle. Frazier was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
