In the early morning hours of December 3, 2016, a life was tragically cut short in a motel room in Antioch, Tennessee. Casey Thomas Lucas, a 30-year-old man from the nearby community of Nolensville, was in a room at the Super 8 Motel on Bell Road with several other people, including his girlfriend. An altercation broke out, shattering the morning's quiet and ending in gunfire. When the chaos subsided, Lucas was found deceased, having been fatally shot.
