Al Baker, a 61-year-old African American man, was a beloved Krispy Kreme delivery driver in Nashville, Tennessee, where he had worked for over three decades. His life was tragically cut short on December 4, 2016, in a senseless act of violence that occurred outside a Mapco gas station in Donelson. On that fateful night, Baker was making a routine delivery when he was shot multiple times by a masked man who had just robbed the store clerk inside the gas station.
