Donovan Mills, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 13, 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee. Mills, a Detroit native, had moved to Memphis to attend LeMoyne-Owen College. He was found shot in the 800 block of Saxon and Lenow around 10 p.m. on December 12, 2016, and was rushed to the Regional Medical Center in extremely critical condition, but he did not survive.
