On a tragic Friday in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of a promising 22-year-old male rapper was cut short. Thedric Morton, known in the music community as Bankboy Wayne, was fatally shot on November 29, 2019. The brazen attack occurred in broad daylight, just hours before he was scheduled to perform at a concert. Morton was sitting in his car with another man outside a barbershop on South Main Street in the heart of downtown Memphis when the violence erupted.
