Robert Pollard Jr., a 32-year-old African American man from Memphis, TN, was tragically shot and killed on July 18, 2017. His death occurred after an argument over stolen lawncare equipment escalated out of control. Pollard had also witnessed the killing of his nephew the previous year and had agreed to testify against the suspect.
