On February 6, 2017, 23-year-old Marquis Bell, an African American male from Memphis, TN, was tragically shot and killed in the 4200 block of Eastwind Drive. The incident occurred when Bell was approached by Octavious Bland, who began shooting him during an argument. Antoine Adams, who had four prior felony convictions, also fired shots at Bell as he approached from behind. Bell was shot 10 times, including three times in the head.
