In the quiet town of Hartsville, Tennessee, a reputation for generosity and a willingness to lend a hand defined 44-year-old James Turner. His life, however, was tragically cut short on the cold night of February 11, 2017. Turner, a Black male, was discovered shot inside a car along New Harmony Road, a grim end to an evening that began with no hint of the violence to come.
