On a street in the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 27-year-old Travis Johnson, a Black / African American male, came to a sudden and violent end on the evening of Saturday, March 4, 2017. The incident, which unfolded on East Barron Circle, resulted in Johnson sustaining a fatal gunshot wound. Another individual was also injured during the altercation.
