In the late hours of a September evening in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 28-year-old Jordan Briggs, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On September 12, 2021, Briggs was discovered unresponsive at the Skyline Inn located off Shelby Drive. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds to his chest. Despite the arrival of the Memphis Fire Department, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
