On a spring evening in Memphis, Tennessee, a young Black man named Donkevion Jones, aged 20, was the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred on April 22, 2023, around 8:30 p.m. Jones was in his vehicle at the intersection of Egypt Central and Raleigh Millington when the events that led to his death began to unfold. Another car pulled up behind his, and an individual exited the second vehicle.
