On October 28, 2021, the world lost a bright light with the passing of 16-year-old Jason Deshun Perkins Chaffin Jr., affectionately known as "Lil Jason." Born on June 11, 2005, in Memphis, Tennessee, Jason was the cherished son of Jennifer Perkins Chaffin and Jason Chaffin Sr. As an African American young man, he was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew him.
