In a tragic turn of events on a Sunday afternoon in Memphis, Tennessee, a young life was cut short. Three-year-old Angel Hernandez was spending time with his father, Argel Hernandez-Escobar, on the front porch steps of their home on North Highland Street on September 30, 2018. In a moment that would forever alter their family, a pistol his father was holding discharged. The single bullet struck both the father and his young son.
