Henry Namett

Murdered

Henry George Namett, an 82-year-old resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, tragically lost his life on December 30, 2012, in a double homicide at a group home. Namett, a veteran, had been living in an assisted living facility when he and another resident were brutally attacked. The perpetrator, another resident of the home, used a hammer to fatally bludgeon Namett and the other victim. After committing the violent crime, the suspect, David Settle, left the scene and was apprehended later.
