In the spring of 2017, the promising life of 22-year-old Hollie Marie Adcock, a White/Caucasian female, was tragically cut short in her East Memphis, Tennessee, apartment. On April 9, 2017, her ex-boyfriend, Jason Chase Riley, then 29, placed a 911 call, claiming Adcock had taken her own life. Initially, authorities treated the case as a suicide, a narrative supported by a note found at the scene. However, the ensuing investigation would unravel a far more sinister story.
