In the early hours of May 23, 2017, a grim discovery was made at the James Cayce Homes in East Nashville. Responding to a call at 12:50 a.m., Metro Police officers found two men shot. One of them was 22-year-old Brandon Jordan. He was found lying on the ground near the porch of an apartment, having been shot in the upper torso. Tragically, Jordan died at the scene.
